About
I’m currently a senior at Virginia Tech, pursuing a degree in Sports Media and Analytics and a minor in Public Health. For the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of being a student photographer for Virginia Tech Athletics, working closely with teams like lacrosse, women’s basketball, and the Club Field Hockey Team, while also photographing events for basketball, football, wrestling, baseball, softball, lacrosse, and soccer. My responsibilities go beyond photography—I also handle editing, labeling, and organizing images to ensure every is in ordered and can be easily accessible.
My time with Virginia Tech Athletics has been incredibly rewarding, offering me the opportunity to develop my skills, build lasting connections, and contribute to a thriving sports community. I've also been fortunate to shadow the head photographer for the Washington Wizards (NBA) and the Washington Mystics (WNBA), where I gained valuable knowledge into the fast-paced world of professional sports photography.
Outside of my work behind the lens I work part-time at a bagel shop in my hometown. In my free time, you can find me baking, cooking, playing intramural sports, spending time with my animals, watching sports or at the gym. I’m an avid sports fan who thrives on capturing the energy, emotion, and passion of athletic events.
Aside from my passion for photography I’m also very passionate about nursing. I have always loved the idea of helping others and tending to those in need. I became interested in nursing when I got my CNA license (certified nursing assistant) in high school and when my sister became a nurse. I have also always found the medical field extremely interesting and like learning about wellness.
As a female photographer in the sports industry, I aim to inspire other women to pursue their dreams in sports media and beyond. Whether I’m on the sidelines, editing photos, or collaborating with a team, I bring excitement, creativity, and a strong work ethic to every project I take on.
